Films: The Last Dinosaur (1977)

Summary: Once again, the poles are seen as potential sanctuaries for the creatures that time forgot. We have no idea why they keep doing this, really. How have none of these creatures froze to death?!

History: The "polar borer" had a mission: find the group of explorers that went missing after a trip to an unknown paradise located within the polar caps. As it turned out, this prehistoric world included a particularly belligerent T-Rex that ate the last visitors. And now one of the crewmates, a big game hunter, is determined to bag him.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The Triceratops is killed by the T-Rex after a fierce battle, and the aforementioned predator still lives even after the hunter's thrown practically everything under the sun at it.

Powers/Abilities: Incredible resliance

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-There's an odd clumsy dopiness to these creatures, sadly. The T-Rex in particular has it bad due to getting put into rather slapstick-esque situations, such as being dragged down a hill by a rope and rock by the foot and getting brained by a boulder later on. It's just surprising he's still standing.

Trivia: -Despite being identified as a Ceratopsian, the Uintatherium is very obviously an ancient ancestor of rhinos.

-The T-Rex suit was soon used again for the "Dinosaur War Aizenborg" series, where it was a megalomaniacal villain.
